Elizabeth Bass writes women's literature under her name, and as Liz Freeland, she is the author of the Louise Faulk historical mystery series, which began with Murder in Greenwich Village and is published by Kensington Books (June 2018). She also published several romantic novels under the pen name Liz Ireland.

Elizabeth grew up on the outskirts of a small East Texas town. Animals and Humphrey Bogart were her first passions in life. She could have gladly stayed an illiterate bunny caregiver addicted to black-and-white flicks on the late, late show if it hadn't been for a father who kept the house filled with books and some tireless primary school teachers.
